In a nutshel google voice gives u a US number and Unlimited free calls and sms to US and Canada.

But the trick is Google voice is open only to US. In hacker's world there is a trick to get google number even outside US and get unlimited free calls to US and Canada using Google Voice.

Here is steps

Step 1: When you try to sign up google voice outside US, Google sniffs ur ip address and throw u the following error.
   

Here we are going to do some tricks to make Google believe that you are accessing Google voice from US.

Download and Install HSS Google voice proxy that changes your ip to US and make google beleive that you are accessing google voice from US.

Installation is quite simple just make sure u uncheck all the extra offers and click next till its installed.

Once installed it will make a connection to its US Server to get u a US IP Address.

When you get the following screen you are good to go to next step.
   

Step 2:

Get SIP address to get US number.

Go to Iptel.org
Click on the subscribe link in the top right corner.

you will be presented with sign up page like this.
   

enter all details and click on register button.
Note down the SIP User id.

Step 3:

Get US Phone number

Go to phone.ipkall.com
You will be presented with sign up screen like below.
   

Choose your account type:SIP
Choose Area Code for your IPKall Number: 253
SIP Phone number: your SIP user id created in Step 2
SIP Proxy: sip.iptel.org
Email Address: your valid email address
password : of your choice
# of Seconds to ring before hanging up: Leave default value

enter captcha value and click submit button.

Step 4:

Set up your SIP Softphone.

Download X-lite here

once installed open up the Xlite smartphone, Right click on it and select SIP Account Settings

   

In Settings Page click on the Add Button.
Enter the following information as given in the screenshot and click on Apply buton.
   

Your SIP phone is setup now.
   

You got a US phone number now. you can give this number to your US frnds and get incoming calls in your computer.

Now we are all set to get Google phone number.
We got US ip address and US phone Number.

Now go to www.google.com/voice
Login with your gmail id.

There are four steps in signing up google voice

Step 1: Select your Google Number. Google offers to select number based on location or your own number preference.
I have entered ma name ManiG and clicked search and found a numbers ending with my name.
   

Step 2: Set up your Google voice pin. Used to access voicemail and other features.
   

Step 3: Provide US number i.e Ipkall number you received on email and click on continue in step 3 and call now button in step 4. Now your xlite softphone rings and press answer button. enter the two digit number shown in the google voice in xlite keypad and your google voice number is activated.

   

How to make a call using google voice.

before that setup your Auto Attend option in xlite softphone.
   

Now go to google voce page, click on the call button on left top end and enter the desired US/Canada number and click on connect button.
you are connected with xlite softphone and in 10 seconds your destination number rings.
   
Wow.. you could call all your frnds and relatives in US and Canada for free.
